The North 1/2 of Section 22
THE NE ¼ OF SECTION 22 - Government Lots 1 and 2 The Northeast quarter has shifted north by 10 acres
The NE 1/4 of Section 22 is comprised of Government Lots 1 and 2, according to the BLM records. A patent was issued in 1898 for both Lots and held for 5 years before the NE 1/4 was sold. The first sale conveyed all land, except for 10 acres which was under fence by a neighbor who purchased land in Section 15. The landowner in Section 22 was under the impression that the 10 acres was actually in Section 22, but did not dispute the fence as a proper boundary.
